Great place. Simi-handicaped accessible. Has a good privy.
Has for horse riding in this area it is a WONDERFUL place to ride. The trails are well kept and the over nite parking area for the horse trailers are VERY well kept. Very large pads for your trailer. However you well need to bring your own water and electric. I recommend that your horse have shoes because just about all the trials are very rocky but still nice. The conservation folks are doing a GREAT job maintaining this place. And I believe that there is a horse riding group helping as well. If I could give this place a six star rating i damn sure would.

Nice little camp ground, clean and well kept. Vault toilets only but they were decent, not stinky. We had the whole place to ourselves, it's not a busy place. The no see-ems were a nightmare in the morning but they were gone by afternoon. Overall a nice little stop, and you can't beat free.
The trails are wide enough that if something happened they could access you on the trail with emergency vehicles. Huge bonus! Nice amenities like a stepping stool to give you a boost up on your horse. The bathrooms always have toilet paper. Beautiful views of cliffs, farmland, enchanting forests and awesome river bottoms crossings. Lots of wildlife. It is a nice facility.
Spent a lot of time here in my youth and now as an adult. It's quiet and natireb
